How to Cook Beef Pepper Rice

Heat a large skillet or cast-iron pan over high heat.

Add butter and spread it evenly.

Place the cooked rice in the center of the pan.

Arrange the sliced beef around the rice.

Scatter the corn and green onions over the rice.

Place the butter on top of the rice.

Pour the prepared sauce around the beef and rice.

Sprinkle generous amounts of black pepper across the entire pan.

Allow the beef to cook for one minute.

Mix everything together using two spatulas.

Continue cooking for two more minutes.

Stir constantly to coat every ingredient with the sauce.

Top with the grated quick melt cheese. I personally love cheese on this so you can skip this if you want.

Serve immediately while the rice remains hot and sizzling.

Serving Tips

Use freshly cooked rice for the best texture.

Choose thin beef slices for faster cooking.

Adjust the black pepper according to your preference.

Add shredded cheese for a creamy variation.

Include mushrooms for extra flavor and texture.

Serve with a fried egg for a heartier meal.

Pair the dish with a light salad or miso soup.

Storage and Reheating

Store leftovers in an airtight container.

Refrigerate the dish for up to two days.

Reheat the rice in a skillet over medium heat.

Add a small splash of water before reheating.

Stir gently until the beef and rice become hot.

Avoid microwaving for long periods because the beef may become tough.

This homemade version captures the signature flavors of restaurant-style pepper rice. Freshly ground pepper, butter, and savory sauce create a satisfying meal. The sizzling presentation also enhances the overall dining experience. Home cooks can prepare this recipe within 30 minutes. It offers an affordable alternative while delivering rich flavor and excellent texture.
